What is Sitemap?

A Sitemap is simply a directory of all the pages existing on your site. Like table of contents showing the structure of your blog. It help search engines crawl your site and index it properly. Search engines will crawl your site if you have a Sitemap or not, but this makes this process easier quicker for them.

Create a Sitemap for Blogger.

Follow the steps

Open the Sitemap Generator. And type the full address of your blogger blogspot.com blog (or your custom domain blog like techfor24.blogspot.com or techfor24.com)
Click on create sitemap button (see screenshot)

3. Now this tool is instantly generate the necessary text your sitemap. Copy the entire generated text. (see screen shot)

Sitemap has been created for submit.

Submit Sitemap on Blogger

Login your Blogger account and go to your blogger dashboard and under setting-> Search preference, enable Custom robots. txt option. Paste the text here (the copy file) and save your change. [see screen shot]

And we are done. Now search engines will automatically discover your XML Sitemap files via the robot txt file.
For better indexing you also need to submit a sitemap on Google webmaster tools
